R. Steele Finch specializes in hand crafted clay wall pockets, wall cones, clay wall sculptures, bowls and platters. These unique pieces of artwork are one of a kind and are a great compliment to every décor style from rustic to contemporary. Although it may seem the wall cones and bowls may look similar, each one is made by hand, guarantying that no two will ever be identical. Wall pockets and wall cones are a wonderful way to add to any décor. For added color, the wall pockets and wall cones look great when filled with floral arrangements. Bowls and platters also add an artsy touch to a living space. Bowls and platters can be displayed on tables and shelves, either empty or holding special mementos or decorative balls. They also look wonderful displayed on racks to help fill in wall space and compliment already existing décor. The wall sculptures created by R. Steele Finch are another special way to add to a room’s décor. Wall sculptures are made to hang on a wall and add a slight touch of unique, dimensional artwork. All pieces made by R. Steele Finch are hand crafted with clay and fired in a kiln. Once the artwork has been fired, the pieces are finished with acrylic paint and an aging process for a unique look. All artwork is safe to be displayed inside the home and also out in the garden. It is recommended that an annual sealant is sprayed on any artwork displayed outdoors to keep the life of the color. Bowls and platters have the same acrylic finish and should be considered artwork and not safe for food storage. About the artist… Roberta Steele Finch is a native of Sioux Falls, SD.
